@Gabz This is how I felt about the announcement of Heath Ledger as Joker. Here's another, more substantial good sign to outweigh the inevitable "omg Twilight man" hysteria: he has been working with Cronenberg even before the last Twilight film was released.

Honestly, I liked Affleck's older Batman but DC is generally screwed on-screen for reasons that I don't think align with this kind of casting.
