@jack This would have been avoided if Apple handled the product line appropriately. It's fair to say they have struggled with transitioning into their modern, iOS-lead behemoth form.

I wonder if this is the end for consumer-level towers with Apple or if they'll follow this beast of a machine with a lesser model, or at least produce a lesser monitor. Maybe in the end they'll just sell enough of the iMac and Mac Mini to justify the existing line-up.
