There are so many things I both like and love about being British but repeated lack of access to the trendy new tech is not one of them. So much stuff is either blocked or delayed by what amounts to infrastructure-level technical debt.

I’ve been reading a decent number of “quitting social media” posts lately (as well as writing my own, of course) and have noticed a common pattern with regard to negativity, outrage machine, etc:

Quick Micro.blog wishlist for web-based enhancements:
- Greater access to your timeline.
- Username autofill.
- Reply-all and selective reply picker.
- Expandable post box in replies.
- Access to Following list and/or clear indication that you are following an account.
- Drafts.
