PCR results for my wife and I: negative
Either we had it and are now in recovery or this is in fact the most horrible cough/flu either of us have ever had. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it happened this year.
So still: fuck this god-damn virus.
Now set to go with Workflowy so that I can do my outline-based note taking on the computer.
Need to finish setting up my calendar switch from Fantastical to calendar.app and the core of the TIL workstation is back up and running.
Took and sent off our PCR tests earlier today. If it’s not COVID, it’s been a fucking awful flu, worst we’ve ever had.
Fuck this god-damn virus.

Seeing the latest mess concerning TV rights, via Star Trek, has reminded me of why it is that I spend increasing amounts of energy dwelling on the notion of cutting traditional TV from my attention entirely.

Skyrim is 10 years-old.
I miss my AirPods
Change is such a polarising process. Some things are new and shiny and exciting, and then other things are suddenly… no longer needed.
Basecamp is such a nice app. I can’t believe I can use this for free.
… I also regret moving away from it in the first place 😬
Having declared no more features for any updates to @TIL between now and 2.0, my mind is of course finding it oh-so-easy to think of nice small features.
Just posted a short update on the last post for the @TIL Buy me a coffee page. It’ll be closed on Monday, with The Insight Program left as the only way to support Today I Learned monetarily.
Apple subscription for small business tools, huh. Hey @jack it looks like everybody is about to become an expert in running a small business again 😂
ICYMI: I started this week with TIL 1.9, a major release 👀
Making new things is so. much. fun.
There were no posts from @TIL on Friday. Been finishing up the updates I mentioned previously in the week.
And they’re ready 👀
But first! Some regular posts…
First time in the coffee shop in a few weeks. Let’s see what I can do in the next 80 minutes.
Why does BBEdit start with a dark background as a default… and can you change it? Also… grey text on a dark background? Seriously?
