It’s not just inspiration, though there is plenty, but also the impetus. The direct, tangible ingredients for doing something. And especially, something different.
I like the differences between the official Micro.blog apps. A browser is not a Mac is not an iPhone is not an Android is not an iPad.

Flickr are putting more features behind the Pro membership and further limiting free accounts.
I am ok with this, since the platform is only going to survive it if can become sustainable in more of the way of modern, paid services, and less of the way of older ad-based services.
