2021
Just took a quick look in Discover and saw a bunch of people who either havenāt presented at Micro Camp or I havenāt seen in the chatroom there.
This reflects the way in which Micro.blog has grown in a quiet way, without the founders and enthusiasts yelling at you about it.
For the folks who havenāt been able to attend Micro Camp: donāt worry! Neither have I. Sometimes life works out that way. :)
Testing out a new post type for @TIL with this post for Micro Camp.
What do you think; link-blogging on Today I Learned?
Maybe one of the reasons RSS doesnāt seem to be as popular as we would like is because weāre all hiding the link for the feed.
Now that Iām getting to grips with Micro.blog theming it would be a good time to make a move on that Working Group idea I mentioned a while ago.
Better understanding of Micro.blog templates and Hugo means that @TIL has had its first design-based updates that I was able to batch together. š
The Micro.blog template editor update from⦠uh, last year?⦠is so much better than the before times. I think itās even helping me to gain a basic understanding of how Hugo works.
Iāve been thinking of ways to use Micro.blogās granular URL structure for pages for quite some time.
Today Iām finally able to publish the result: New structure for the Links directory via @TIL š
Looking at @pratikās photos as they go by and super jealous not only of the magnificent shots but also the offline break. š
Pinch-to-zoom should be universally available on the iPad, in every single app, no matter what part of the app you are in.
Yesterday was a good day for @TIL:
- A new page.
- Big update to an existing page.
- This weekās Tip.
- The fifth issue of ICYMI.
- More Updates posted than ever, which continues today.
If you subscribe to the newsletter youāll immediately receive that new issue of ICYMI, with more info!
And there it goes! This weekās issue of ICYMI has been sent to subscribers.
It covers the past weekās worth of activity on @TIL, with extra detail and greater context, and a little look at the week ahead. š
Subscribe now and youāll immediately receive the latest issue.
Iām writing the new issue of ICYMI at the moment. Today was a little hectic, so you can catch up via the newsletter on the Subscribe page. Youāll immediately receive last weekās issue!
I wish I was doing more for Micro Camp. Even so @TIL is continuing with⦠renewed energy. š
