Spending time in Workflowy makes me happy. It is the thin layer atop all of my organisational tools, which themselves are as shallow (and therefore nimble) as I would like them to be. It’s a relatively small combination of tools that actually help me get work done. Finally.

There are so many things I both like and love about being British but repeated lack of access to the trendy new tech is not one of them. So much stuff is either blocked or delayed by what amounts to infrastructure-level technical debt.

Welp, I can no longer tolerate the taste of milk or artificial sweetner in coffee. That’s a … thing, I guess. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Today we’ve had cold cider weather and I am so happy. Now to actually acquire some cider…

Top 5 Android P Features!

MBKHD, my favourite tech pundit, goes over the changes in the developer version of the next major update to Android. I like a lot of what I’m seeing here, especially with the continued hardening of security.

I’ve been reading a decent number of “quitting social media” posts lately (as well as writing my own, of course) and have noticed a common pattern with regard to negativity, outrage machine, etc:

Quick wishlist for web-based enhancements:

  • Greater access to your timeline.
  • Username autofill.
  • Reply-all and selective reply picker.
  • Expandable post box in replies.
  • Access to Following list and/or clear indication that you are following an account.
  • Drafts.
