@Ron We are in the exact same position. I had the iPhone model from 2013 and it was brilliant; from there I looked at lots of Apple options for different computers and thought that even though they're expensive it seems like the best option in the long term. Now, over the past four or so years since then I have seen more and more Apple fans become concerned with the Mac and have found that frustrating since I would like nothing more than to move over to a safe and secure alternative to Windows.

I don't know... hopefully Apple can release good updates to bring the Mac back to a better place and make more steps to prove their ecosystem is as secure and stable as the Apple fans claim it is.
