@brentsimmons This is the same reason I can't go back to Instagram, no matter how popular it has become. I'd rather my photos were never published publicly than ever go up onto a site wherein not only are they likely to be used for all kinds of purposes into which I have no input nor with which I would agree but also I have no reason to trust they'll stay there, either directly or via something like the Internet Archive.

As you say, for broadcast, sure but any sort of personal permanence is the antithesis of these silo platforms.
