@adders I had completely missed the noise re: NY office. Honestly, when you see journalists behave in the way so many have on Twitter (getting angry, swift harsh judgements, etc) it becomes easier to see why news media is in trouble in general; why are all of these so-called journalists and academics wasting their time on Twitter in this way, especially now of all times?

A lot of it is just gross and in no way any sort of constructive discussion about an important issue.
