@brentsimmons I know it's somewhat easy to back-in-my-day this kind of thing ("Steve never would!" etc) but this really seems like the kind of software iteration that would happen in a .1 or .2 release... back when they had time to do that. This yearly cycle to match the iPhone has done bad things to Apple's software and I think this is a clear symptom of those problems.
