@Gabz I think that's definitely part of a larger problem with the news-based shows. I've become sensitive to people who assert that a period of three years is "a long time" or "years and years ago." I can no longer tolerate the 24-hour news cycle mentality, wherein you are rabid for information even though 90% is useless crap. I think it's especially bad in podcasting, since that medium is capable of having a much more considered and thoughtful approach to these things.
