@vincent I read and hear about this a fair bit. Also true with using touch. I'm convinced that as the touch-and-voice tech generations mature, along with the first digital-native generations, that we'll see a lot of this tech get much better than it is now. I think about Apple's "What's a computer?" advert and how over the next few years a lot of people will think of it as whimsical and clever, whilst the cynical voices who consider it offensive will become much quieter than they currently are.
