@vasta Thanks Sameer. I'm mostly at a point where I just treat them as broadcasting tools, from a distant viewpoint, but since so many other people treat them as essential tools for living there will always be that question of whether it's just best to go with the crowd.

In the end, I think about how we all got here in the first place and the truth is that these networks were not popular until a small group of power users gave them that initial push. Now that can be done again, instead this time some of us can be power users for the open web, and if we do it for the rest of our lives maybe we'll make the world a better place even if by a little bit.
