@amit I believe iOS developers tend to follow at least the spirit of Apple having taste (which I don't think is necessarily true, at least not with the software at this point), and whilst there are some good things on Android in this way the fundamental problem remains; there is no tastemaker, no singular point of focus from which developers can draw any real guidance.
