@adders Really makes you think about the cultures within our society, wherein we like to brag about our glorious history with words and yet we're so utterly incompetent at communication that we have no true robust community, and so people inevitably seek out disreputable sources of information.

The only answer here is to speak with one another more and yet you see people not just yelling at each other and frantically embracing their own false view of the world but also disregarding other people with trite nonsense such as "Keep Calm And Carry On".
