@stickmandiaries Yeah the wires were foremost in my mind when I first tried airpods and agree; now that I'm using wires whilst out and about it just feels like an annoying waste of time to wrangle with them. I'm also quite active at home for my main work -- which is probably how I over-used the pros tbh -- so I get even more benefit from the wireless in that scenario.

I reckon the 2nd generation are best bought now. I'd be surprised if Apple keep selling them for much longer.
