@mjdescy I think the very best spaces are physical, in-person, especially in which the confines of the discussion are made as clear as possible. But even away from that, there are;

• video calls;
• audio calls;
• emails;
• chatrooms (Discord, etc).

... and maybe more? Either way, I think other online spaces are already much better than the "public square" format, let alone the superior quality of the physical world.
