@patrickrhone I've been thinking a lot about this and largely agree with Alan. I'm glad to have such a capable handheld computer but feel no benefit to being strongly dependent on it. I like instead to depend on other people, to be part of many communities and only use technology when it is additive and does not threaten the humanity of our shared lives.
