@amit @manton The new one has better camera(s) and improved battery; for a lot of people I would guess that is enough to justify the decision, and it makes sense when considering the product as a whole. In years past, when the "S" system was used, there was also much less choice and the device would not work as well for as long. It no longer makes sense to judge the product based on that system.

I mean... of course you can but I think it's a bad idea since you're no longer looking at what actually exists, rather you're projecting ideas based on the past into the present.

(FWIW this a thing I do, and find myself struggling as a result.)
