By "internet-based" world I'm mostly talking about the increasing number of ways in which we are replacing largely reliable and time-tested analogue methods of doing anything and choosing instead to implement fragile, fickle service-based ideas for a population of people who are not truly prepared to make massive adjustments to their lives.
