@JoshNicholas Yep! As much as certain aspects of globalisation have definitely been a good thing, I also think the negative side provides more than enough reasons for all of us to better embrace "shop local". Like, literally for everything, including software and hardware.

I know that can be a tough sell since the big tech companies have spread the lie that everything should be freely available to everyone all at the same time. However, I think we can already see lots of people opposing that idea with renewed investment in the local mentality.
