@manton I haven't fully read the announcements so forgive me if this has already been stated; I think it's more than a little telling that David made this decision after one of his apps became literally one of the biggest selling in the world.

I feel that start-ups and mega-corps have distorted the viewpoint of many tech enthusiasts. You can't "just hire somebody" when your goal is to build a sustainable, thriving, independent business.
